These two groups were so much fun to watch. Both classes were tight, and the amount of hard work each rider has put into these animals truly showed. All of these horses are turning into incredible shooting horses, but two stood out above the rest.
Clint Travis walked away with his second TQH Futurity title on one of our stallions, Sandmans Cash (Yankee). Clint has been working with Yankee for months in preparation for this competition, and his hard work paid off! He won a personalized TQH BE saddle pad and $1,000.
Connor Travis and JR Chunky Seventeen (Jack) came out on top, winning them the title of the first 2023 TQH Derby Champions! Connor continues to be impressed with his horse, Jack. He is proving to be a consistent, fast, and agile competitor in even the toughest of competitions. Connor walked away with a personalized TQH BE saddle pad and a $500 check.

This Futurity Class was one of our largest classes yet, and definitely one of the most fun to watch. Eight of our competitors ran fast and hard to compete for their chance to take home the coveted Tavis Quarter Horses saddle pad and $1,000. It was a tight race between our competitors, but in the end, the youngest Travis brother came out on top. Congratulations to Adam Travis and TF Driftin Mesquite - our 2022 Travis Quarter Horses Futurity Champions!
