When he was younger, Smokey sired a few colts, but it was decided he would be a better gelding on our farm. Smokey has incredible cow sense, but also a very sound mind. Jake can run a smoking pattern on him one minute, and the next, his younger brother with Down Syndrome will hop on and take him for a slow, clean run through the same pattern. Smokey is the perfect example of the kinds of horses we raise here at Travis Quarter Horses.
