A place dedicated to recognizing the outstanding horses and riders who have excelled in our program. These champions represent the talent, heart, athleticism, and dedication that define the Travis Quarter Horses breeding program and the future of mounted shooting competition. We are proud to celebrate each horse and rider who has earned their place among our Futurity and Derby winners, and we look forward to watching their continued success in and out of the arena.

In the Futurity (4 y/o class), we saw 7 impressive 4-year-old horses and their riders. It was a tight race, but in the end, Lonnie Nye & his horse, Roxannes Train, came out on top. Congratulations, Lonnie!

The Derby (5-y/o class) was made up of 8 returning horses that showed us how much work their riders have put into their training in the last year. We saw fast times & smooth patterns. But Kaden Bolton & Koda Flash were the team no one could beat. Congratulations, Kaden!
2024 TQH Futurity Champion

Congratulations to our 2024 TQH Futurity Champion, Adam Ross riding TQH Sandmans Silver Cash! The Futurity class was highly competitive, showcasing the dedication and countless hours of preparation these young horse-and-rider teams have put in. We are proud to recognize Adam and TQH Sandmans Silver Cash for rising to the top and earning this championship. Congratulations on an outstanding performance. We look forward to watching this team continue to grow and succeed in the years ahead!
2024 TQH Derby Champion

Congratulations to our 2024 TQH Derby Champion, Jackson Bakken riding TF Highbrow Train! The Derby class was equally competitive, with every rider demonstrating skill, precision, and hard work in preparing their horses for the event. Jackson and TF Highbrow Train stood out with a remarkable performance to earn the championship title. We are excited to watch this team continue their journey and see what they accomplish next in the arena!

Connor Travis & JR Chunky Seventeen
Connor Travis and JR Chunky Seventeen (Jack) came out on top, winning them the title of the first 2023 TQH Derby Champions! Connor continues to be impressed with his horse, Jack. He is proving to be a consistent, fast, and agile competitor in even the toughest of competitions. Connor walked away with a personalized TQH BE saddle pad and a $500 check.

Clint Travis & Sandmans Cash
Clint Travis walked away with his second TQH Futurity title on one of our stallions, Sandmans Cash (Yankee). Clint has been working with Yankee for months in preparation for this competition, and his hard work paid off! Adam Travis & TF Driftin Mesquite
This Futurity Class was one of our largest classes yet, and definitely one of the most fun to watch. Eight of our competitors ran fast and hard to compete for their chance to take home the coveted Tavis Quarter Horses saddle pad and $1,000. It was a tight race between our competitors, but in the end, the youngest Travis brother came out on top. Congratulations to Adam Travis and TF Driftin Mesquite - our 2022 Travis Quarter Horses Futurity Champions!
2021 TQH Futurity Champion
Clint Travis & Ruger
These three competitors brought their A-game this year to the futurity contest, and it was a tight race between the three generations of riders. In the end, Clint Travis pulled off a win riding Ruger, out of our grademare, Lilly, by Flash One. Clint received a $500 check and a personalized saddle pad, crowning him as the 2021 Travis Quarter Horses Futurity Champion.

It was a tough race between these six, but Connor Travis and TF Claytons Mesquite (Crystal) ended up on top. Connor received a $500 check, a custom saddle pad, and the title of the "2020 Travis Quarter Horses Futurity Champion."
