CJ Driftin Hancock (Reference)
CJ Driftin Hancock was a 20% Blue Valentine stallion known for producing gentle, intelligent, and fast-minded colts. Though we lost him to laminitis, his legacy lives on through the exceptional horses he sired—and the next generation carrying his name forward.
Drifty was out of Claytons Dawn by Claytons Wood Dust and carried 20% Blue Valentine blood. He consistently sired colts with exceptional minds that are easy to break—so much so that some of our kids are currently riding his young offspring.
Though we lost Drifty to laminitis, he left an enduring legacy. His colts are known for combining the gentleness of Blue Valentine with remarkable speed and athletic ability. To carry on his influence in our program, we kept one of his stud colts, Poco Dakota Hancock. The horses we ride today from Drifty continue to reflect his intelligence, versatility, and remarkable disposition.
