Claytons Blue Train
Claytons Blue Train is a 2013 blue roan stallion known for siring athletic, good-minded, and eye-catching colts. With 18% Driftwood blood and a calm, powerful presence, his foals are as versatile as they are consistent.
This 2013 stallion, out of Claytons Bluewood by War Train and carrying 18% Driftwood blood, is quick, handy, and full of speed. Blue consistently passes these traits to his colts, roughly half of which are roans, thanks to his homozygous black, blue roan genetics. All of his offspring are powerful, athletic, and possess exceptionally sound minds.
Ridden by Jamie Travis, Blue remains calm and consistent even after months without work. After a fast arena run, he can be found walking slowly in the warm-up pen with the smallest riders, demonstrating his versatility and gentle disposition.
These qualities make his colts highly sought after, though a few are so exceptional we’ve chosen to keep them. Claytons Blue Train’s presence is evident across the ranch, and his offspring are often recognizable by their talent and demeanor alone. We are truly blessed to own this remarkable stallion.
